I might hold out for the reviews before jumping into Darkfall. It kinda reminded me a bit of Heretic 2... not sure if that's a good thing given that it was released in 1998..
I'd have to agree. If you basing your pre order of the game on "That" particular video then I want some of what your taking.
Course, it probably doesn't have all the textures and shadowing that the final product will have I'm sure, still, I wouldn't invest cash money in it till I got a few good reviews and saw some actually finished ingame footage.

Fighting lookad almost as good as Vanguard at release.

Based on that video alone, I would have to say I don't like it.
The run animations look to slow, almost like below the waist you are in slow-mo.
Sounds from combat are poor & again it looks nothing original in its fantasy setting.
